#Frequently asked questions

What is Permanent Jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a piece of jewelry made specifically for you! The chain is measured, cut, and connected with a small jump ring. This jump ring is then micro-welded together for a seamless fit!
What material do I have to choose from?
We currently offer 14k gold-filled, solid 14k gold, and sterling silver chains and charms along with selected rose gold pieces.
What if I need to remove it?
The jewelry can be cut with nail clippers or wire cutters. If you ever want it re-welded, we ask that is it cut on the jump ring so there are no issues re-welding.
Is there any upkeep?
Each chain is chosen specifically for durability. While they are made for everyday wear, some perfumes, lotions, and chlorine can begin to break down the metal over time. Try to keep clean and dry when possible!
Can I wear through airport security?
Yes! Fine jewelry does not have to be removed.
How many pieces can I get at once?
We can weld up to 3 pieces on the same person under 1 appointment slot. If you would like to get more than 3 pieces, you will need to book 2 appointments for yourself.
What do I do if my jewelry breaks?
If it breaks AT THE WELD SITE within 2 weeks of placement, please contact me and I will re-weld for free! You must have the chain with you. If you are past the 2 week mark, re-welds are $10.
Do you take appointments?
Yes we do! You can book single appointments through the button on the home page or on the bottom left of each page.
What does a private party entail?
Private parties can be booked online with a $50 deposit. This deposit holds a one hour slot and pays for the host's bracelet or can be put towards an anklet or necklace, or higher end piece. 5 or more people must be attending for this to be considered a private party. More time can be booked at no additional cost (especially if you have more guests).
Is there an age requirement?
There is no age requirement but a consent is required by any parent or guardian for their minor to receive a piece of jewelry. Children must also be able to sit still during the process.
How long does it take?
Each appointment slot is 15 min.
Can I keep it on for an x-ray or MRI?
Consult your doctor if you will be required to remove your permanent jewelry during your X-ray or MRI appointment. Your doctor may or may not ask you to remove it. If they do, make sure to cut if at the ring, store it safely, and bring it back to us for a re-weld!
